Ponder Slowly (Tribute to Blurr)
Title: Ponder Slowly
Author: primrosemars
Rating: G
Character(s): Blurr
Disclaimer: A drabble on the thoughts of Blurr before he got squished. Also, he might be OOC. I need to watch Transformers: Animated all over again to get his personality right. Ugh.

Ponder Slowly

Trapped. He zipped towards the sliding door, pushing with all his might to prevent himself from being compacted into a cube. However, the heavy weighed doors triumphed against him, and Blurr could no longer force his way through.

A loud crunch erupted from the tunnels, yet no ear piercing cry came from the intelligence agent, because he couldn’t, and didn’t want to. He wanted to stay strong, wanted to show no fear or cowardice. However, he never thought it would end this way; slow.
But it made sense to him.

He took the way of life as a fast cycle. He was always ahead of everybody, and always expected everyone at the same pace. He was like a bullet that shot through space and time, getting his missions done faster than most robots. He never took it slow, which is probably why his death took forever, to give him time to ponder.
Maybe if he took the time to do things at a normal pace, it wouldn’t be as painful as it is now, slowly being pressed into an almost replica of an energon cube. But it gave him time to ponder.

Blurr looked back to his past, present, and probable future. He almost wanted to laugh at himself when he remembered getting things done in a flash; always. He was a good soldier, but a fast one.

Maybe, just maybe if he took things slow. His death would’ve been quick and painless.
